“We came all this way — why stop now?”

She gathered her dress, carefully climbed down in her heels, then went barefoot once we reached the bottom. Together they scaled a massive rain-slick boulder rising from the riverbank. The groom gets full credit for making it up there in wedding shoes with absolutely no grip. It was slippery, adventurous, and completely worth it.
