Peyto Lake Wedding Elopement

This gorgeous elopement showcases some of my absolute favourite locations as a photographer. These two were up for a day of adventuring, visiting multiple breathtaking locations for their wedding photos. They didn’t just want one location filled with tourists and crowds like Lake Louise, but they wanted amazing unique spots for photos and a day that was solely focused on the two of them and their love story.

When it comes to elopement locations, my favourite places are the dramatic ones. Give me a huge waterfall, a gorgeous viewpoint overlooking Peyto Lake, and a beautiful valley full of wildflowers beside the flowing river. There are endless locations to choose from for your wedding day, and part of what you get with me as your elopement photographer is the inside scoop on these amazing locations. My #1 tip to all couples eloping near Banff is to plan for a weekday. Summertime is peak season here, and if not carefully planned out, you can get stuck in parking lot traffic jams, road closures, and tourists everywhere. This is such an incredibly special day in your lives, and I’m here to make sure it goes as smoothly, and peacefully as possible! So if you can, always say yes to a weekday elopement. ;)
