You can propose right on the shoreline, select a more private location nearby, and even book yourself in for a romantic dinner after the big moment at the Chateau Lake Louise.

Why choose Lake Minnewanka for your proposal location? With a short 10-minute drive from the town of Banff, this makes for an easily accessible location that

offers some incredible lake colours and the perfect backdrop for your photos. Not to mention, it’s a very quick and easy 5-minute walk from the parking lot right down to the lakeshore where you’ll be set up for the perfect proplsa spot.

3. Moraine Lake- Proposal on the Rockpile

If you’ve seen photos of a proposal at Moraine Lake before, it’s easy to understand why this would be top of the list for where you can propose near Banff. With the turquoise Lake and iconic view of the 10 mountain peaks wrapped around the backside of it, it’s a gorgeous location to pop the question.
